We also appreciate the very significant and important work you all are doing for the pandemic. As such, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the 2020 CSCC\/CCMG Joint Conference planned for June 18-21 in Winnipeg. The uncertainty over the short and medium term make it too difficult for all parties to plan a successful meeting at this time. Our two organizations will work together to reschedule a joint meeting in Winnipeg to be held at a future date, likely in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>We will be looking into options for holding our Annual General Meeting this year, and to bring alternative educational opportunities to our members in 2020 with an aim to meet additional continuing education options. The 44th Annual Scientific Conference will feature a multi-disciplinary scientific program, renowned guest speakers, an extensive two-day trade show, and a great social program.\n\nThe CCMG Annual Meeting attendees include:\nScientists\/Researchers, Laboratory geneticists, directors, technicians, and technologists, Educators, Medical and clinical geneticists, Physicians of all specialties with an interest in genetics, genomics, and the genetic basis of disease, Genetic counselors, Nurses, Biotechnology and pharmaceutical development professionals, Fellows, trainees, and students.\n\nMaintenance of Certification\nThis event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This activity is approved by the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.\n\nThrough an agreement between the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert Royal College MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits\u2122.
